Sectional take down is a tree felling procedure used in confined, awkward tree felling spaces.
It is always a buzz to clear fell a big tree, but in the residential sector there are a lot of hazards to consider, so sectional take down is the usual practice.
Sectional Take Down is exactly that, taking the tree down and removing it piece by piece using ropes (rigging). If the tree has to go it has to go, it has to go. We have been impelled into all sorts of tree felling; we look for the safest, time effective method for that particular task. Sometimes hiring other equipment like cranes.

With our Hansa C65RX 10” rubber tracked remote controlled self driven chipper, that also has a winch on it makes pulling trees over easy. The winch is hydraulic and has a 4 ton ability, but with my rigging equipment I can convert that 4 ton to 12 ton. The C65RX can winch branches out of a felled tree into position for processing into chips. Maneuvering the chipper about the site is easy. Its an amazing machine that saves a huge amount of time and labour. It simply is state of the art arboriculture equipment. It can tack over hill and dale to get to a site or it can winch massive branches, even whole trees.
The chipper outputs woodchip into our 2017 Isuzu Forward Arborist truck that can cart 9m3 of chip and holds onboard every tool and piece of equipment an arborist needs to carry out simple or complex tree operations.
On large wood operations our DINGO is another wonder tool. It with its 4n1 hydraulic bucket can lift and move wood, push and spread out chip, scrape sites clean, rip out waste and load it away. Plus the DINGO also has a stump grinder attachment, it is another super machine that saves on time and labour.
